Simple past function

Note: the word ago is a useful way of expressing the distance into the past. It is placed after the period of time e.g. a week ago, three years ago, a minute ago.

Example

1. Yesterday, I arrived in office.
2. She finished her work at seven o'clock.
3. We saw a good work last week.
4. I went to the bank last day.
5. He sent me a letter six months ago for sell.
6. Peter left five minutes ago the savings  funds.
